Gloria Dei Communities Corporation has announced that it is celebrating the 40th anniversary this past month of The Towers Active Senior Community located in Huntingdon Valley, PA. An anniversary luncheon was held on January 14th to share the celebration with The Towers residents and staff. Gloria Dei Senior Communities and its residents have donated much needed school supplies through its CARES Community Outreach program to the William Cramp Elementary School serving the Fairhill community in North Philadelphia.

Gloria Dei Senior Communities, through its CARES Community Outreach program, has donated much needed school supplies to several Philadelphia School District schools. The schools receiving the donated school supplies were the William Cramp Elementary School serving the Fairhill community and Mary McLeod Bethune School located in North Philadelphia.

Gloria Dei Senior Communities and Twilight Wish Foundation, a locally-based national nonprofit, partnered to grant the simple needs wishes of 30 residents at Saint John Neumann Place of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Thursday, August 8, 2012.
As part of Gloria Dei’s CARE Community Outreach Program, residents in their Bucks and Montgomery county facilities raised funds by holding bake sales, car washes and bingo nights over the past few months to grant the simple needs wishes of 30 residents of Saint John Neumann Place, a low-income, independent living community in South Philadelphia. As part of the CARES community out-reach program, residents of the Gloria Dei Towers Senior Community recently held a pepper and egg sandwich fundraiser to help support the Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House. Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House provides services for veterans while they undergo treatment for serious health issues at the local VA hospital. Read More

Gloria Dei Senior Communities celebrated the official ribbon cutting and dedication of its new state-of-the-art Alzheimer’s and dementia care facility, Memory Care at the Park, at a special event held on September 29, 2010 at the facility’s Hatboro location.
Over 150 invited guests and dignitaries attended the event to take part in the official ribbon cutting and dedication of the new 11,400 square foot facility located on Gloria Dei’s Hatboro campus that also includes Gloria Dei’s The Farms active retirement community and Luther Park assisted living community.
