When the office is closed we have two Night Manager couples that live on site. They help with emergencies and security. We certainly don’t want to leave the community unattended when the office is closed. The two Night Manager couples on duty at night eliminate any liabilities when the office closes down.
We take security very seriously at The Manor and Manor Courts. The community can only be entered by a key or by being “buzzed” in. Both the Manor and Manor Court have emergency call systems that are monitored 24/7. You can rest easily knowing that you’re safe.
The Manor and Manor Court staff handles all maintenance that is required in the apartment. We do not require our residents to become engineers when something needs fixing. It’s as simple as calling up someone on duty, reporting the problem, and then having someone come out to fix what is broken.
Yes, utilities are included in the rent. The Manor and Manor Courts includes it all within the final bill. However, phone and cable are not included as a utility. That is purchased separately. The cottage rent includes water and sewer but not electricity, phone or cable.
No, the Manor and Manor Courts do not provide meals. However, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen which allows each individual or couple to prepare their own meals. On occasion, we have catered dinners, picnics, birthday parties and other events with food.
This is a really great community with helpful people and a great staff. I’m really glad I moved into here.

Under the HUD Section 236 program, we have 111 one bedroom units and 64 efficiency units for rental at Gloria Dei Towers to residents who have low income levels. HUD has made available 156 Section 8 rental subsidies to our residents having very low and extremely low incomes.
We are a Section 8/202 community and our contract with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) states that we will accept anyone over the age of 62 or anyone under that age who would benefit from the wheelchair accessibility features provided in 10 units provided that a household’s total gross annual income is not more than the current Very Low Income limit set by HUD.
