At Gloria Dei, the focus is on you. Choosing a senior community is an important decision. After all, you are choosing a home. The place has to feel right and it has to provide the amenities that are important to you. Yes, we have comfortable apartments in great locations, but beyond that, we have communities of people who are making the most out of this important time of their lives, in part because of the things we provide beyond great living spaces.

Gloria Dei properties are ideally situated and close to shopping and public transportation. Each has a passenger bus that makes regular trips to the market and other destinations, and we offer on-site services for added convenience. Comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces provide a perfect social environment when friends and family come to visit. As a non-profit, our rents and admission fees (where applicable) are surprisingly affordable, and the accommodations are outstanding. Gloria Dei properties are pet friendly and smoke-free. Our residents, 55 and older, enjoy a comfortable and active lifestyle.

Gloria Dei residents participate in a wide assortment of activities that keeps life full and interesting. The Tenant Associations, staffed by residents, create the fun. They schedule daily activities that include arts, crafts, cards, games, sing-a-longs, walks, hikes, trips, events, yard sales, and the list goes on and on (activity calendars can be found under Community Life).

Gloria Dei Active Senior Communities are located in Hatboro (The Farms), Huntingdon Valley (The Towers and The Manor & Manor Court), Newtown (The Plaza) and Philadelphia (The Estates). The Towers and The Plaza are Section 202/8 approved.

In addition to our active senior communities, Gloria Dei offers Luther Park, a personal care facility for residents who seek additional comforts in their later years.

Gloria Dei Communities is also committed to helping the growing number of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's and other dementia. In response to their needs we have recently added Memory Care at the Park to serve as a beacon of life, love and hope for those suffering from dementia and those who love them.
