The Towers has 175 comfortable, easy to maintain efficiency and one bedroom apartments featuring wall to wall carpets, vinyl flooring and updated kitchens. Our eight story concrete and steel building is serviced by two recently modernized elevators. Each apartment is equipped with two emergency call systems to alert our 24-hour on-site non-medical staff when emergency assistance or aid is needed. You can enjoy the peaceful, suburban setting or take a quick stroll to nearby stores and restaurants in the village of Bethayres. Great shopping is also available minutes away at the Willow Grove Park Mall and the many shopping centers along Roosevelt Boulevard. Our 14 passenger community bus makes weekly trips to nearby grocery stores, banks, and shopping centers, as well as special outings arranged by management. The Towers is also close to Holy Redeemer Hospital, Abington Hospital, Jeanes Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, and less than an hour away from major Philadelphia medical centers. SEPTA 24 bus stops at our front door, and local train transportation to Center City Philadelphia and beyond is less than a half mile away. In 1974, Gloria Dei Towers was built and dedicated to provide safe, affordable housing
for seniors, age 62 or better. The Towers is non-profit, HUD subsidized for the benefit of residents with low, very low and extremely
low incomes. Rents are based on a percentage of each individual household income, and electric, gas, water and sewer utilities are
included.
