No, we have no food or medical services at our community. Residents are expected to make their own arrangements for their daily living, and so many have aides to assist them or have Meals On Wheels or other prepared meals delivered on a daily basis. No, HUD does not permit any kind of entry or processing fee to be charged at any time. When residents first move in they will be expected to pay the first month’s rent and a Security Deposit of no more than $100.00 and not less than $50.00.

No, the remaining person does not have to relocate to an efficiency unit. The only reason that person would be transferred is if the remaining resident requests that they move to a smaller unit, otherwise he or she will be permitted to stay in their existing apartment.

In brief, to comply with HUD regulations, rents are based on income from all sources and interest earned on investments, with an allowance for any out-of-pocket medical expenses.
